Miss Teel’s Class Learns About the Color Red

By Her Students

This is a picture of Miss Teel’s and Mrs. Calia’s class. We are having RED DAY! To celebrate RED DAY, we made red books, sang a red color song, wore red clothes, highlighted the word red and cut out red pictures, and last but not least, came up with a list of words that began with the "r" sound. Some words we came up with were:

· Rocky

· Rake

· Rockerfeller

· Rabbit

· Rain

· Radio

· Rock star

· Run

· Right

· Real

· Room

· Robin

· Rainbow

Another thing we did was sing a red song. Here are the words to the song if you want to sing it too:

I like red

I like red

Do you like it too?

Do you like it too?

Red is the color of lollipops, the setting sun, and a pair of socks

Have you ever seen such a color my friends as RED, RED, and RED?

Wasn’t that a great song? It went along with our great RED DAY. We felt excited that every single person in our class remembered to wear red. We will never forget RED DAY. It was our first color day and we can’t wait for PURPLE DAY, ORANGE DAY, PINK DAY, AND GREY DAY.
