Night of Terror by Laura Katherine
In the backyard of the Tower of Terror Trisha, a 10 year old girl, gets stuck. Trisha goes to sleep at midnight and has a dream. She dreams that her friend Ginger asks her to go bird catching. In her dream she is lost and she wanders into the gate to the backyard of the Tower of Terror. She sees a wheelbarrow and hears a voice that says "the wheelbarrow is to carry the dead bodies like me. The lightning bolts scatter everywhere. The dead body screams awfully ugly. While she’s walking she thinks she found her friend, but it was an imposter. The imposter pushes her into the Tower of Terror. She sees all the ghosts, monsters, ghouls, spirits. First she sees them as very nice, but then they see a full moon and they get angry and scary. The pumpkin screams whah ha ha! Trisha screams! Then she finds a witch who takes her to scary clouds and she screams some more. She falls off the broom and then BOOM, she wakes up. At 4:00, Trisha finds her friend and her friend asks her to go bird catching. Trisha is thinking déjà vu! She follows her friend, gets lost, and she wanders into the backyard of the Tower of Terror. It really is terror! What she dreamt is happening! She gets so scared she falls into a hole and she finds her friend there also. Ahhhhhhhhhh! The lesson of the story is never go to sleep at midnight or you could wind up doing the same thing when you are awake. Page updated November 21, 2005
