Where I Am From

                            “ Where I’m From”

I am from the buttery, salty taste of popcorn, the crunchy taste of greasy fried chicken, the chewy, greasy taste of a hamburger, the salty taste of potato chips, and the crunchy taste of an apple.

I am from the clean smells of the shampoos my parents use, the smells of the bubbly soap in the bathroom, and the sweet smells of buttery popcorn popping in the microwave.

 I am from small tvs, computers, clean bath tubs, sinks, toilets, soft beds,  solid-colored sofas, and wooden tables that display papers and drinks.

I am from the sounds of toilets flushing and hot micro waves heating.
