“Where I’m From”
By Meghan
I am from
the soft crunch of the pizza when I take a bite, the swirly chocolate
sensation of the caramel ice cream, and the soft and sticky feeling of
the peanut butter on the roof of my mouth.
I am from
the stench of the gas in the air made by dirty diapers, the smell of
cooked eggs in the hard rock pan, and the gooey cheese sliding off the
pizza.
I am from
the hard wood table, the softest couch I have ever laid down on, and
toys scattered everywhere even on my soft bed.
I am from the loud long
crying of my brothers. The soft
sweet peaceful sound of
laughter flowing throw my ears.
The annoying trouble they
caused.
