“Where I’m
From”
by Paul
I am from the
sweet taste of juicy black berries, sour tender apples, and salty
crunchy chips.
I am from the
smell of soil in the garden, the pine trees in the forest,
and crunchy
fish frying on the grill.
I am from the
sight of the bright orange setting sun, the grey cat jumping couch to
couch, and the cows eating the bright green grass.
I am from the
sounds of rain drops against the windows, the TV in the
morning ,and
the cat purring under my ear.
I am from the
freedom of having a yard with private space in Lexington, Kentucky
