Where I Am From

"Where I’m From"

          I am from chocolaty goodness of candy bars, the nutty taste of candy sweets , and the good, buttery taste of popcorn in my mouth.                                                                             

          I am from cat smells of cat fur, the stench of the litter box ---I drown that smell out with air, and  I step outside and have a big breath.   

          I am from bamboo hanging from the ceiling , the lack of noise when the television is turned off, and the trading cards lying on the ground . 

          I am from footsteps coming down the hallway, my cats meow to go outside, and the sound of cars coming into the driveway.
