Kentucky is a
wonderful state with numerous beautiful places and fun things to do.
It is divided into six regions that all have unique characteristics and
personalities as well as industries, crops, and natural resources.
As you proceed through this webquest,I hope that you will become more familiar with and proud of the state
in which we live while researching the regions of your choice.
And you’re off!!!
Choose two of the six regions of Kentucky to explore and experience during
this Webquest adventure. Answer
the questions from the Regions of Kentucky
Question Sheet while
exploring the sites listed below. You
may want to explore the sites first before choosing a region to see which one
interests you the most. While you
are answering the questions provided for you, be sure to take notes on any
interesting things that you see that you think would be fascinating to share
with your classmates. You will be
presenting the information that you find with a PowerPoint presentation. This
PowerPoint presentation should be informative as well as enjoyable.

Choose two of the six regions of
Kentucky to complete this Webquest.
- 2.
Answer the questions on the Regions of Kentucky Question Sheet using the Internet sites
listed below to find the answers.
- 3.
Take notes while searching the Internet sites on any interesting or
fascinating things that you find that you would like to share and present
in your PowerPoint.
- 4.
Prepare a PowerPoint presentation compiling everything that you have
learned about this region. You may use
clip art, maps, and pictures to enhance your presentation. Be
creative, unique, and artistic when completing this part of the Webquest.
You should have at least 3 slides for each region, one slide for famous
Kentuckians, and one slide for Kentucky history for a minimum of eight
slides.

Have
fun and take your time completing
this Webquest!! I am looking to
see that you have thoroughly researched each question about your regions and
compiled as much information about them that you can.
Be sure to save any pictures that you find along the way so that you
can use them in your PowerPoint presentation. Also make sure that you keep
paper handy to take notes on while you are exploring the Websites.
